Death trick as a flip
A downloadable game for Windows
Spend a sleepless night in a cozy–creepy fantasy city, hopping between shady tavern tables and back-alley games of chance. Buy your dice from a literal skeleton bonesmith, then sit down to gamble gold against three strange locals:
- A smug succubus who hates to lose
- A tiny but terrifying dragon
- A sly catfolk trickster
Your goal is simple: win their gold, leave them broke, and become the night’s undefeated dice legend.
How to Play
Goal: Reach the required score faster than your opponent to win their gold – defeat all rivals and take everything.
- Roll the dice and look for scoring combinations.
- Keep (set aside) any scoring dice you want and roll the remaining dice again.
- Repeat as long as you’re willing to risk it.
- When you’re happy with your result, end your turn and bank your points.
- Careful! If you roll and get no scoring dice at all, that’s a FAIL – you lose all points accumulated during this turn.
Dice Combinations
Single Dice
- 1 = 100 points
- 5 = 50 points
Straights (all dice are unique)
- 1–2–3–4–5–6 = 1,500 points (big straight!)
- 2–3–4–5–6 = 750 points
- 1–2–3–4–5 = 500 points
Three of a Kind (or more)
Any set of 3 or more identical dice gives you big points:
- Three 1s (1–1–1) = 1,000 points
- Three 2s (2–2–2) = 200 points
- Three 3s (3–3–3) = 300 points
- Three 4s (4–4–4) = 400 points
- Three 5s (5–5–5) = 500 points
- Three 6s (6–6–6) = 600 points
Each extra die in the same set DOUBLES the score for that combination:
- Four 1s (1–1–1–1) = 2,000 points
- Five 1s (1–1–1–1–1) = 4,000 points
- Six 1s (1–1–1–1–1–1) = 8,000 points
Push your luck, read your opponents, and pray the dice like you more than they like a grinning skeleton, a sulking succubus, a greedy dragon, or a smug cat-person.
